A dream came true! I made a design for fabrics!
Let me introduce you to Franciska Linen. Behind this brand-new label for bed-linen is my friend Elina from Latvia who I met in Australia and had many adventures with in Down Under and in East Timor.
Lucky me, Elina took notice of the drawings I prepared for my cousin who expected her firstborn. The topic for the baby’s nursery was forest animals. Elina liked it that much that she wanted to collaborate with me for her first collection of bed linen! Together we decided to stick to the forest theme and add sleepiness as a topic. I jumped right into it and prepared some possible designs. A sleepy little fox and three snuggling ducklings are the result. Elina did all the magic to realize the idea.
The Eucalyptus-linen truly is high quality and so is the print. I also love that it closes with a bow and not a zipper. Truly good value for money. The pillow cases come in mustard yellow, blue (kind of a pale jeans blue), pink and grey – and with beautiful packaging. While the brand mainly designs for children’s rooms the pillows might also attract people who love baby animals (who does not?).
If you are intrigued please check out Elina’s Facebook page, Website or Etsy page! I hope you like the result!
